he System Engineering Centre of Excellence
provides technical leadership in engineering and design
processes. These include basic design, design criteria documents,
system analysis, system schematic diagrams control philosophy,
equipment/system specifications, evaluation and vendor
interface. Standardization of documents, drawings and design
calculations is also undertaken at the centre. This process
centre is committed to continuous quality improvement through
staff development, customer feedback and application of
state-of-the-art computer software. The objective is to provide
efficient and high quality design & engineering services

Mechanical Power Systems
This process system develops system develops
system design for conventional thermal combined cycle,
co-generation and diesel generator based power plants both for
greenfield and existing units. The work include selection,

Material Handling Systems
This process centre performs system
engineering and detail design for bulk & unit material
handling of coal, lignite, minerals, liquid fuel, ash etc, for
power projects as well as for process industries such as steel, fertilizer, cement and mining. It also undertakes feasibility
studies, prepares project reports and conducts augmentation,
optimisation and simulation studies.
