Mechanical System Engineering (Static & Rotary)

Job Description: 

Mechanical Engineers should have experience in basic and detailed design of Power Plants, Waste-to-Energy Plants, or Water Treatment Plants.

The engineer should have a solid understanding of the main steam cycle of supercritical plants, combined cycle power plants, feedwater pumps, condensers, gas turbines, steam turbines, HRSG, and boilers.

Engineers with Balance of Plant (BOP) experience should have worked in steel plants, power plants, or chemical industries with systems such as cooling towers, CW pumps, HVAC, fire protection systems, and water treatment plants.

Experience in the conceptual, basic, and detailed design of Balance of Plant systems, including cooling water systems, closed cooling water systems, instrument air/service air, chemical dosing, fuel oil systems, fuel gas systems, and water transportation systems.

Knowledge of system equipment such as heat exchangers, tank design, compressors, fans, blowers, pumps, gas compressors and conditioning equipment, and specialities like strainers, pressure-reducing valves, control valves, relief valves, etc.

Engineering responsibilities will involve preparation of design criteria, P&IDs, equipment and pipe sizing calculations, system and control descriptions, technical specifications, bid evaluations, and vendor drawings.

Piping Engineer

Experience: 5-10 Years

Qualification: B.E./B.Tech or M.E. / M. Tech - Mechanical

Discipline: Mechanical

Job Description: 

Pipe sizing, BOQ for piping, fittings, valves, pipe support selection, and thermal insulation. Knowledge of pipe thermal insulation calculations as per ASME and IS codes. Good knowledge of piping material selection and familiarity with ASTM, ASME BPVC, and IS codes.

Review of piping isometric and composite drawings, interdisciplinary assignment loading, and knowledge of equipment and piping layouts.

Preparation of RFQs and bid evaluations for all piping materials, such as alloy steel, low-pressure piping, large-diameter piping, valves, and piping specialty items.

Preparation of BOQs and datasheets for piping, fittings, valves, piping specialties, and thermal insulation.

Vendor drawing review, bid evaluation, interface engineering, and plant coordination.

Pipnig Designer 

Experience: 8- 20 Years

Qualification: Diploma- Mechanical

Discipline: Mechanical

Job Description: 

Experience in developing equipment layouts, piping arrangements, piping isometric drawings, BOQs, hangers, and supports.

Strong working knowledge of MicroStation 2D/3D and AutoCAD. Experience with PDS, SP3D, PDMS, and Excel is preferred.

Experience in equipment layout design for large coal-based, combined cycle power plants.

Piping arrangement and isometric drawing experience.

Design of hangers and supports.

BOQs for piping, fittings, valves, and piping specialties.

Electrical  Engineering (System design)

Experience: 8-13 Years

Qualification: B.E./B.Tech or M.E. / M. Tech- Electrical

Discipline: Electrical 

Job Description: 

Electrical Engineers should have knowledge of preparing key SLDs, DCDs, relays and metering, and proposal and detailed engineering documents. They should be able to provide sizing and procurement support for electrical equipment such as transformers, batteries and chargers, UPS, cables, motors, earthing, lightning, lighting, and electrical support for mechanical packages. They must be technically sound.

Experience in sizing calculations, including transformer sizing, HV and LV cable sizing, battery and charger sizing, grounding calculations, lighting calculations, lightning calculations, and diesel generator sizing calculations.

Review of vendor drawings for transformers, motors, switchgear, panels, control cables, local push-button stations, cathodic protection, plant communication systems, emergency diesel generators, and generators.

Experience in engineering for power plants, the oil and gas sector, and the industrial sector.

Strong communication skills, both oral and written. A team player with interdisciplinary coordination experience and the ability to work independently.

Experience interacting with clients, OEMs, vendors, and project management teams.

Electrical  Engineering (Physical  design)

Experience: 6-12 Years

Qualification: Diploma Electrical 

Discipline: Electrical 

Job Description: 

Knowledge of electrical physical design, including the conceptualization and preparation of air-insulated switchyards, gas-insulated substations, switchgear room layouts, control building layouts, transformer yard layouts, overall raceway layouts, building raceway layouts, earthing layouts, lightning layouts, and lighting layouts.

Providing interdisciplinary inputs and resolving interference issues.
Experience working in both 2D and 3D environments.

Able to work independently.

Experience of interaction with clients, OEMs, vendors, and project management teams.

CSD Engineers General Civil Works

Experience: 10 Years

Qualification: B.E./B.Tech or M.E. / M. Tech-Civil

Discipline: Civil

Job Description: 

Profound knowledge and hands-on engineering proficiency in plant civil works engineering, including area grading (cut-fill), stormwater drainage, sanitary/oily/process drainage, roads, ash ponds, raw water reservoirs, etc.

Expertise in hydraulic calculations/numerical modeling, interpretation and recommendations based on topography, bathymetry, geotechnical data, and area drainage/flood potential study reports.

Knowledge of analytical software such as Civil 3D, StormCAD, etc.
Familiarity with and application of IS codes/standards, as well as American, British, and European codes of practice for both domestic and international projects.

Strong leadership qualities and experience as a lead civil works engineer in multi-disciplinary EPC projects.

Capable of guiding multiple teams, resolving site construction issues, and managing customer interfaces.

Senior Civil/Structural Engineer / Reviewer

Experience: 6-12 Years

Qualification: B.E./B.Tech or M.E. / M. Tech-Civil

Discipline: Civil

Job Description: 

Sound proficiency in Design concepts / hands-on engineering experience for reinforced concrete analysis and design of Foundations for Dynamic equipment (Steam Turbine/Gas Turbine/Pumps etc.), industrial buildings / structures in Power projects or similar industry
Knowledge of materials, analytical software (STAAD, SAFE, ETABS, SAP etc.).

Civil/Structural Designer

Experience: 10 -15 Years

Job Description: 

Detailed working experience in a 3D environment, including model and drawing preparation for power plant/industrial structures.

Sound knowledge of plant layout, multi-disciplinary interfaces, and interference resolution.

Proficiency in software such as MicroStation, AutoCAD, Tekla, E3D, PDS, etc.

Experience working in both RCC (Reinforced Cement Concrete) and structural steel areas.

Geotechnical Engineer

Experience: 6-10 Years

Job Description: 

The engineer should have knowledge in the preparation and review of control configuration diagrams, design basis/criteria documents, instrument lists, instrument data sheets, IO lists, open-loop and closed-loop logic diagrams, DCS graphics, and C&I BOQs.

Familiarity with various sizing calculations, such as thermowell sizing, flow element sizing, and control valve sizing.

Experience in the preparation and review of purchase specifications, bid evaluation reports, and vendor drawing reviews for DCS, PLC, field instruments, analyzers, flow metering stations, CEMS, SWAS, AAQMS, control valves, vibration monitoring systems, master clock systems, CCTV, LAN, security systems, access control systems, instrumentation cables, and FO cables.

Experience in interdisciplinary coordination and support for mechanical packages.

Experience in engineering for power plants will be an added advantage. Able to interact with clients, OEMs, vendors, and project management teams.

Control & Instrumentation Engineer

Experience: 5-20 Years

Qualification: Diploma -  Control & Instrumentation/ E&I/ Electronics/ E&C

Discipline: Control & Instrumentation

Job Description: 

Knowledge of preparation and review of central control room and local control room layouts, instrument installation diagrams, instrument hook-up drawings, cable interconnection diagrams, junction box grouping, instrument/junction box/rack location drawings, instrumentation BOQ/MTO, and HMI graphics.

Experience working with AutoCAD and MicroStation for 2D drawings and 3D models.

Review of interdisciplinary drawings/documents for instrumentation physical interfaces.

Experience in engineering for power plants will be an added advantage.
