L&T-Sargent & Lundy engineered 2x660 MW Shree Singaji Thermal Power Plant Unit 3 of MPPGCL synchronizes in record time

L&T-Sargent & Lundy (L&T-S&L), engineered Unit 3 of state-of-the-art 2x660 MW Shree Singaji Thermal Power Plant in Madhya Pradesh was synchronized on April 27, 2018 in record time of 40 months. This has set a new benchmark in the power sector for indigenous plants. The EPC contract of this supercritical power plant at Khandwa was awarded to Larsen & Toubro Limited (L&T) on December 31, 2014 by M P Power Generating Company Limited. The foundation stone was laid by the Honourable Prime Minister Mr. Narendra Modi in the presence of the Honourable Chief Minister Mr. Shivraj Singh Chouhan and other dignitaries on March 5, 2015.
