Name of Project : 400 MW Bibiyana-III Combined Cycle Power Project, Bangladesh

Owner/Client : Bangladesh Power Development Board (BPDB), Bangladesh

Capacity : 400 MW

L&T-S&L’s scope : Complete Basic and Detail engineering for the entire EPC of the project

Configuration :

  • One M701F Gas Turbine (GT) of 285.06 MW from Mitsubishi Hitachi Power Systems (MHPS), Japan
  • One Natural Circulation Horizontal Type HRSG from CMI, Belgium
  • One FK-H130/6.3-50-AX Steam Turbine (ST) of 133.25 MW from Fuji Electric Company, Japan

Key Technical Features :

  • HRSG having Dual Pressure, Natural Circulation with Integral Deaerator, Horizontal Type, CMI design
  • Two pass, Single Shell, Divided Water Box, Axial type water cooled Condenser
  • STG Auxiliaries like BFP, CEP, DM Transfer Pump, Vacuum Pumps, CCW Pumps, Plate Heat-Exchangers etc.
  • 3x50% Centrifugal type Gas Booster Compressors
  • Balance of Plant including Fuel Gas Conditioning, Water Pretreatment Plant, DM Plant, Effluent Treatment Plant, HVAC, Fire Fighting, etc.
  • Inline, FRP, Film Fill Type, Induced Draft Cooling Tower alongwith vertical CW & ACW pumps
