L&T-S&L’s scope : Part Basic and Complete Detail Engineering Services

Configuration :

  • Twelve (12) Siemens make Gas Turbines Generators (GTGs)
  • Twelve (12) BHI make Heat Recovery Steam Generators (HRSGs)
  • Six (6) Siemens make Steam Turbine Generators (STGs)

Key Technical Features :

  • Two (2) Units each unit having Three (3) Blocks of side-by-side 2x2x1 arrangement
  • Dual fuel, Dry Low NOx GTGs SGT6-5000F of 229 MW rating each
  • Two (2) pressure level condensing STGs of 226 MW rating each
  • Horizontal HRSGs without duct firing at two pressure levels
  • Bypass Deaerator
  • Sea water intake system and Cooling system
  • Electrochlorination system
  • Desalination plant for sea water
  • Turbine inlet chilling system
  • Plant HVAC & Firefighting system

Fuel :  

  • Primary Fuel: Natural Gas
  • Back-up fuel: Diesel
