L&T-S&L’s scope :Complete Basic and Detail engineering services for BOP -Mechanical, Electrical & CNI, BTG - Civil (except for TG foundation), Design of 275 m high twin flue RCC Chimney and review engineering of BOP Civil

Configuration :2x660 MW Supercritical Boiler, Turbine and Generator supplied by Harbin, China

Coal Handling Plant

  • 2x1800 TPH Belt Conveying System
  • 4x1800 TPH Crusher
  • 4x1800 TPH Vibrating Grizzly Feeder
  • Stacker Cum Reclaimer: Stacking Capacity 3600TPH, Reclaiming Capacity 1800TPH

Ash Handling Plant

  • 2x65 TPH scrapper chain conveyor arrangement for each unit Bottom Ash Handling System
  • 247 TPH Fly Ash single stage pressure Conveying System for each unit
  • 3x206 TPH HCSD system for bottom ash and fly ash.
  • 2 Nos. of 2000T RCC Fly Ash Silos, 1 No 900T bottom ash silo

Water Treatment Plant

  • 2x1200m3/hr pre-treatment plant
  • 4x138m3/hr RO-I units
  • 2x45m3/hr RO-II units
  • 2x90m3/hr Mixed Bed unit
  • 4x60kg/hr Sea water Electrolyzer

Major BOP Electrical Equipment

  • 3x 1 phase, 260 MVA Generator Transformer
  • Two winding UT and Three winding ST
  • 160 kA,24000 A GCB and 24000 A Main IPBD 11 and 3.3 kV Switchgear,40 kA for 3 sec

Other Major Auxiliaries

  • 5 Nos. Screw Compressors (35Nm3/min) with HOC type ADP
  • 2 Nos. NDCT each of 80000 m3/hr capacity
  • 4 Nos. CW pumps each of 40000 m3/hr capacity
  • 275 meters height twin flue RCC Chimney

Fuel :Blended coal (Indian and Imported coal in ratio of 70:30)
