Mr. Arup Bhattacharya, Vice President & Head – Commercial and Corporate Centre, L&T Energy CarbonLite Solutions (LTECLS) leads the business development, proposals and Contract Risk Management functions. In addition, he also oversees the IT and Digital functions of LTECLS.
Mr. Bhattacharya, an Electrical engineer from Government Engineering College, Shibpur (now IIEST, Shibpur), joined L&T as a Graduate Engineer Trainee in erstwhile Electrical Business Group.
In over three decades, he has worked in various functions/capacities in the company, including production, commissioning, sales & marketing, proposals and has also worked as Area Manager in an administrative role.
He has been instrumental in securing both ultra-mega and mega orders of Thermal Power Plants. He focuses on strategic thinking, relationship-building, customer centric approach and driving growth through new partnerships and market opportunities.
